Modeling of the vane test using a power-law fluid and model order reduction techniques: application to the identification of cement paste properties

چکیده

The effective modeling of fresh cementitious materials during setting is an active and challenging research topic. material behavior as well the parameters properties are not fully understood yet. Therefore, flow casting subject ongoing research. Previous works attempted to model cement paste a solid subjected yielding, or fluid modeled by Brinkman law power law, both in 2D 3D. Of existing models, 3D simulation power-law fluids seems carry best predictive abilities, considering shear-thinning paste. In this work, we vane test using pseudoplastic fluid. We also add all extra coordinates problem, appealing approach when identifying properties, at expense increasing problem’s dimensionality computational time, often referred combinatory explosion. However, order reduction techniques, have ability circumvent curse solving full-scale multidimensional problem sequence lower problems. what follows, use Proper Generalized Decomposition (PGD) solve (6D) nonlinear identify properties.
